Radiesse® Procedure

The Radiesse® procedure lasts approximately five to ten minutes. Anesthesia isn’t necessary; however, Dr. Caniglia can apply topical numbing cream or cold packs for optimal patient comfort if desired. The procedure generally goes as follows:

• Dr. Caniglia identifies the areas where treatment is needed and establishes how much filler is required.
• The treatment site is cleansed with antiseptic.
• Using a tiny needle, Radiesse® filler is injected below the surface of the skin adding volume and fullness.

In many cases, results are instantly noticeable and continue to improve over time. Patients can return to work or regular activities after leaving our practice.

Candidates for Radiesse®

During your initial consultation, Dr. Caniglia will meet with you to determine whether you are a good candidate for Radiesse® injections. Ideal candidates are men and women, typically between the ages of 35 and 60, who wish to erase moderate to deep wrinkles or folds that exist around the mouth, including the nasolabial folds, also referred to as smile lines.

Radiesse® Recovery

Risks of Radiesse®
