Candidates for a Facelift

Facelifts are suitable for men and women of various ages, typically from their mid-forties to early fifties, but can be safely performed into the late eighties for those in good health. For those lacking good skin tone or strong bone features, additional procedures can be combined with the facelift to address these issues. That being said, ideal candidacy criteria include the following:

The Facelift Surgery Procedure

Anesthesia

Incisions

Tightening

Closing Incisions

Before closing the incisions, a natural fibrin sealant called Tisseel is applied, eliminating the need for drains or compression garments.

Dressing

A light gauze dressing is applied, and you can return home approximately one hour after the procedure.
