This patient is now 6 months following subnasal lip lift surgery. Notice following surgery how the length of her cutaneous lip (white lip) has shortened while simultaneously her vermillion lip (red lip) has more show, allowing her to now wear lip stick again. An elongated cutaneous lip is a tell-tale sign of aging. By shortening it and enhancing the red lip show, we can achieve a more youthful appearance.
