This 69-year-old male is now 2 months out from upper eyelid blepharoplasty with ptosis repair and lower eyelid blepharoplasty with canthoplasty surgery.
He initially sought treatment due to excess upper eyelid skin obstructing his vision and hindering his ability to watch TV comfortably without physically lifting his eyelids. Additionally, he was concerned about loose skin on his lower eyelids.
Upon examination, both upper and lower eyelids showed ptosis, necessitating ptosis repair to elevate the lids along with upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty to remove the excess skin. The lower eyelids also exhibited laxity and poor tone, addressed with canthoplasty to tighten and support them.
