About the BOTOX® Cosmetic Procedure

The BOTOX® Cosmetic procedure lasts approximately five minutes and is performed in the exam room. No anesthesia is required, though it is optional. Using a very fine needle, Drs. Alex or Ron Caniglia inject the BOTOX® Cosmetic substance into a small area of the muscle beneath the line or wrinkle. This reduces the contractions of the underlying muscle responsible for the wrinkle, providing a smoother, more refreshed appearance.

What to Expect After Getting BOTOX®

There is little discomfort or pain associated with the procedure, and most patients return to normal activities the very next day.
