The Dysport® Treatment Technique and Recovery

Dysport® injections are administered in the exam room and typically take around five minutes to complete. While anesthesia isn't necessary, a topical numbing cream is available for added comfort. Drs. Ron or Alex Caniglia use a fine needle to inject Dysport® into the specified muscles. After the procedure, patients usually experience no downtime and can return to their usual activities the next day. Results from Dysport® generally last three to four months, though some may see benefits for up to six months to a year. The treatment can be repeated as often as needed.
